Watercolors of the little Wild Ones living in our world
Swan, totem of the mystic and guardian of the children glides gently across deep waters.

Tawny Owl, hunter of the night, silent watcher in the trees, in the Native lore, Owl may be either a wonderful helper or a dreadful enemy.

Vixen on the Hunt ~ she hunts to survive, and to feed her kits.

To those who take themselves altogether too seriously, Raven is the harbinger of doom, crying endlessly, "Nevermore". To those of us who know this bird's silly antics, he is just a clown.

"Please Don't See Me!" this little one whispers from above you in the tree's canopy; waiting for Mama to come rescue him.

This mighty warrior's "medicine" in Native Lore is the bringer of Wakan Tanka's (translate, Holy Spirit, though the early missionaries would never have admitted it.) messages. The red-tailed hawk is a hunter of renown.

The tree sparrow singing quietly in the trees, staying year round to bring us cheer.

Comfortable on land and in water, playful yet never backing away from a fight if must do, otter is the totem of balance in the feminine side of self.
